This Dolls House was built by my Grandfather (Horace Sidney White), he worked on the wooden kitchen table and crafted everything by hand, with no sophisticated tools. It had real glass windows set in with putty. It opened with double doors at the back and one door at the side, the back roof also lifted up. There were tiny light switches in every room that worked each of the room lights independently.
My Grandfather was a Carpenter, Plasterer and could do anything in the building line, so this was a real labour of love. Unhappily, when I outgrew playing with dolls, my parents sold the house. Oh how I wish I knew, what happened to my precious house.
